For his design, Luke ran with the festival concept and re-imagined it as a "Festival of Togetherness" celebrating the different ways humankind comes together for the greater good. Composed of iconographic patterns and populated by life-affirming quotes from Van Gogh, Whitman, and Aesop, Luke's design attempts to instill the pillars of positivity that he considers central to his everyday life and work.

Wrapped in a an unbroken frame of interlocked hands, and featuring peace doves re-purposed as positive banner carriers, Luke hopes that the design will inspire a sense of togetherness, unity, and positivity in all who wear it.

With a background in fine art, and drawing on influences from analog printing and image-making, Luke expertly imbues his work (and his way of thinking about the world) with an organic graphic sensibility. His unique branding, design, and illustration pieces immediately catch the eye with vibrant hues and vintage textures. In Luke's words, a "cultural mash-up of Modern art, typography, architecture, music, philosophy, history and politics, dogs and the ocean all play a huge role in helping to inspire my creative practice in weird and wonderful ways!" Luke's work has been featured by top sports and lifestyle brands including Nike, Stance Socks, Adidas, Puma, ASICS, and Pacific Latitudes. He is currently working as part of the creative team at Pro:Direct, and as his website profile so excellently explains, "When he's not designing, you can find him drooling over Typewolf, or talking to other people's dogs in coffee shops."

SOI DOG FOUNDATION (PHUKET, THAILAND)

Soi Dog Foundation is a Phuket, Thailand based organization that works to provide a humane and sustainable solution to managing the stray dog and cat population in Thailand. Established in 2003, Soi Dog's work with stray animals consists of spaying, neutering, and providing medical attention to animals that would otherwise have been born into short lives of suffering. The organization also provides rescue, vaccination, sheltering, and adoption services for animals that are unable to be returned to their local territories.

Soi Dog also campaigns for the improvement of animal welfare across Asia, fighting the Asian dog meat trade and helping animals affected by natural disasters across the continent. Luke's love of all dogs led him to chose this charity that is doing such great work for the some of the most disadvantaged dogs in the world.
