"The Bloom" is a design grounded in the natural landscape of the Southwest. Like a sapling struggling to find its roots in a dry creek bed, a lone branch spreads its leaves to the sky amidst an unforgiving landscape. There is undeniable beauty in this evolutionary struggle -- as if the the plant's very existence is an act of rugged, defiant, self-determination.

Together with the beautiful border design, the neutral, sun-bleached palette channels the rocky, chaparral-covered hills that roll through the region. It's a bandana that'll feel right at home on any Southwest adventure! This bandana is our fifth collaboration with our friend and Ojai neighbor Real Fun, Wow! and we're honored to bring this unique piece to life.

Masterfully blending elements of natural, supernatural, and human connectedness, Daren's work is both a perfect commentary and a welcome antidote for our modern times. In his own words, Daren explains "The aim of my work is to speak to the space between imagination and reality." If you've ever been to Ojai, you've undoubtedly seen Daren's work either hanging in or painted on the side of local restaurants, breweries, hotels, and shops. Even if you haven't, there's a good chance you've seen his work. Daren's prolific list of collaborators includes REI, Mohinders, Vissla, CAMP, Christy Dawn, Tank Garage Wines, and Little Blind Beer Co., among many others.
